Mel and Nancy Skinner

We are Mel and Nancy Skinner, missionaries under appointment of the International Board, SBC. Our entire married life has been spent on the mission field, with the exception of our honeymoon and occasional furloughs in the US. The first 2 1/2 years of our life together we served as pastor of an English language church in Germany.

We served as church planters in and around Moscow, Russia for 7 1/2 years beginning in January of 1992. September of 1999 we began our current assignment as church planters in Ivanovo, Russia. We have two children, Sarah and Anna, a dog named Simba, a turtle named Harry, and a fish named Tetris.
